Version 1.0 of FPS is currently
supported only by Linux (future versions will be platform independent). The
download includes precompiled executables, that are the core of FPS, and an
installation script. Executing the installation script “install_FPS.sh” will
copy the executables to ./bin/FPS, and create a working directory called FPS in
your home folder containing a configuration file “config.txt” and a sample
dielectric function “epsilon.h5”. MPI, fftw, Paraview, and HDF5viewer are all
available in the Linux repository.
fftw and MPI are the minimum required libraried for FPS to function. Commands for installing FPS with the minimum requirement, also provided in the tutorial file included in the package.
